I created Xassy.com to help women live healthier and happier lives especially during the perimenopause and menopause periods. Menopause is a special time in women’s lives. For most of us, this is a time to listen to our body, which at times is crying for attention. The good news is, we can help our body heal and get stronger. Even better, we can grow emotionally and spiritually as well.
Are you gaining weight, feeling low energy, low libido? You feel that your memory is changing and so are your moods? Do you want a solution for that? It is time to stop wasting money, time and life on what doesn’t work.
Pesky perimenopause and menopause symptoms can affect your health, your happiness and your career. Beyond that, they also affect the people around you, including your loved ones. During menopause we need to address the root of the body changes: our hormonal imbalances. Hormonal imbalances have physical as well as emotional roots and I feel that most practitioners only work with one part of the issues.
Like many women, I was healthy and energetic when menopause hit. During perimenopause and beyond my body started to change and what worked before to keep me healthy and slim did not work any longer. I was a healthy eater, yoga fan, weight lifter, I did my meditation, visualization etc, but my health and weight were changing for the worse. As I always do, I embarked on a discovery journey to find out what could I do to solve my health issues since unfortunately my doctors were of no help. That is how I got certifications (nutrition, personal training, menopause coaching and others) and I started to help women regain their health, and many times their confidence and happiness.
How rude of me, I haven’t introduce myself, have I? My name is Loren Chinchilla. I help women experiencing menopause symptoms to improve their health with lifestyle and mindset changes. I am an engineer with a master in business administration (MBA). I have more than 30 years of experience in many aspects of the wellness industry. I live with my husband in the Boston area in Massachusetts, USA. I am not a native New Englander, but I have live most of my life in this beautiful corner of the planet. I love nature, and hiking is my favorite hobby, travel is the second.
I grew up surrounded by medicine, both standard and natural, and my whole life I have been fascinated by the body’s ability to heal. Because of that I studied different natural medicine therapies, including aromatherapy, Mayan, Ayurveda, homeopathy, functional, energy medicine and others. I love natural healing, but as an engineer I always look for science and logic, because there are too many shinning lights (fake healers and theories) on the horizon. If you would like to know more about my story becoming a health coach you read it here
I created Xassy.com to share my discoveries with other women in midlife who are trying to figure out how to live their best life. At this time my focus is on menopause, but I also cover beauty, wellness, travel and food.
After helping my clients regain their health during perimenopause and menopause, I decided to bring those programs online to help more women looking for holistic solutions.
Thanks for visiting Xassy.
We look in the mirror and see wrinkles but our souls are ageless
Humans need other humans. When women come together to help each other they create magic.
We need to redefine Menopause. This is a time to recalibrate, thrive and be our best.
We cannot let the media or the self-proclaimed gurus tell us how to spend our money, time and life.
Menopause is a new time in our life, a new season, and it can be healthy and happy. Menopause is actually a gift. In the past, most women didn’t have this experience, because they died before this time. We, however, get to live it. We can grow with it, we can become the wise women we were always meant to be.
Here you will find my own products as well some recommended products from around the web.
